Senior Executive – Quality Assurance

Bodyline specializes in producing fitted garments and superior next-to-skin performance wear; and is the go-to vendor for bra innovations. The company has evolved from making simple minimalist styles for a single customer to multiple styles and silhouettes across product categories for global brands.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to guide and lead value stream quality assurance team in sewing value streams to ensure quality systems and processes are put in place to solve problems at the rate of production, whilst achieving operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-production activities for new styles and ensure proper style integration is done to reduce bucket loss.
• Execute continuous improvement initiatives to minimize quality whilst maintaining the required customer and organizational standards. 
• Liaise with other functional areas such as MQA, RMW, PEC and engineering departments and ensure quality related concerns are proactively sorted out before production commences.
• Identify the critical to quality operations and execute Built In Quality (BIQ) projects to ensure the identified operations are performed to produce non-defective products.
• Analyze any process or operational deviations highlighted by QPC team and implement process improvements using lean tools to ensure the highest compliances.
• Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group policies & procedures, best practices relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework.

Knowledge And Skills

• Degree in Engineering, Technology, Quality Management, Physical Science or any discipline from a recognized university.
• 3- 4 years’ production experience in the apparel sector.
• Strong people management and communication skills.
• Experience of leading and managing large teams.
