An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for an industry-leading global organisation as a New Business Acquisition Manager in the Sustainability & Decarbonisation (S&D) space.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth in the UK & Ireland by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in the S&D market. This individual will be recognised as an industry authority, bringing an established network and the ability to build and strengthen trusted customer relationships.
The role requires a highly autonomous, results-driven professional who can translate market opportunities into tangible business outcomes while positioning the organisation as a partner of choice in achieving decarbonisation goals.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Business Growth & Market Penetration
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and acquire new accounts and increase market share within the S&D sector.
- Identify, qualify, and secure strategic opportunities with end users, OEMs, and licensor partners.
- Drive performance by delivering against opportunities, funnel targets, order growth, and other critical KPIs.
- Customer & Industry Authority
- Build, nurture, and leverage strong senior-level customer relationships across UK & Ireland.
- Actively represent the company as a thought leader at industry events, trade shows, and sustainability forums, positioning the business as a trusted decarbonisation partner.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of customer challenges in the S&D domain and align solutions to create measurable value.
- Collaboration & Influence
- Engage with stakeholders internally to integrate solutions and deliver maximum impact for customers.
- Collaborate with Project Proposal Teams to ensure proposals are delivered with both high quality and timeliness.
- Establish effective reporting and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with country growth objectives.
- Strategic Execution
- Develop pilots, partnerships, and flagship projects to showcase decarbonisation leadership.
- Drive adoption of sales tools, packaged solutions, and thought-leadership initiatives to differentiate the company.
- Partner with Marketing Team to successfully implement the new business acquisition strategy.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Sales leadership experience in the Sustainability & Decarbonisation market.
- Proven industry authority with a strong network of relationships across key UK & Ireland stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of results delivery in complex project pursuits.
- Experience working in matrix organisations and bringing together cross-functional/remote teams.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills with C-suite exposure.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- University degree (Engineering, Business, or related discipline).
