Assessment of medical nutrition therapy needs based upon the patient's medical diagnosis, laboratory values, anthropometric measures, medications, age-specific requirements, and other co-morbidity factors identified by the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist or other members of the health care team.

We are hiring for Dietitian position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

Position is Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Day Shift, Hours Per Week as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Food and Nutrition or related field and, 
  • Coursework/Training - Successful completion of a dietetic internship program and, 
  • Coursework/Training - Continuing education in accordance with policies determined by the Commission for Dietetic Registration for maintenance of registered status.   
  • Alaska Dietitian License within 6 months of hire or, 
  • Alaska Nutritionist License within 6 months of hire. 
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year - Clinical Experience.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
