Our client is a high-end solutions provider specializing in Home Automation, Audio-Visual Systems, Home Cinema, CCTV, Wi-Fi, and other ELV, ICT & Automation systems. They deliver turnkey solutions for both residential and commercial projects across Dubai.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Accounts & Administration Executive to manage day-to-day financial and administrative operations. This role combines core accounting responsibilities with administrative support to ensure the smooth running of office functions and project execution. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting, VAT compliance, and general administration, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while supporting management in operational and financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts in compliance with company policies and UAE laws.
- Handle Accounts Payable (suppliers, subcontractors) and Accounts Receivable (clients, invoicing, collections).
- Prepare and process journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closing of accounts.
- Manage petty cash and employee expense claims.
- Prepare VAT returns, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor project-related financials, including materials, installation costs, and service contracts.
Administrative Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, documentation, and filing systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Manage HR-related tasks such as employee records, attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, reports, and official company documents.
- Handle procurement activities including quotations, purchase orders, and delivery follow-ups.
- Manage office supplies, logistics, and facility requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and support management in day-to-day operations.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Accounting and Administration (preferably within trading, contracting, ELV, or MEP industries).
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
