UK Accounting Specialist - Construction (Sage & CIS) ZR_27355_JOB

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• 40 hours/week
• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm GMT with 1 hour unpaid break

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Sage accounting software for seamless daily operations
• Process payments efficiently through integrated construction industry software systems
• Develop and monitor budget forecasts and cash flow projections to support business growth
• Manage comprehensive payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness
• Handle diverse accounting activities that keep the business running smoothly
• Ensure full compliance with UK tax obligations and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) requirements
• Collaborate effectively with external accounting partners for year-end processes and strategic planning

Requirements

• Proven experience with Sage accounting software (MUST)
• Strong expertise in UK business accounting practices and tax compliance (MUST)
• Construction industry accounting experience highly preferred
• Solid understanding of CIS regulations and construction-specific financial requirements
• Ability to work effectively with integrated software platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy
• Self-motivated professional who thrives in a structured yet dynamic environment
