What impact you’ll make?
Work for a complete Manufacturing engineering program, including development of manufacturing processes for NPI’s, documenting process changes, driving process/fixture improvements, driving lead- and cycle time improvements, COQ and EHS actions. Guarantee good process description and production control data (times, routings), implement productivity actions, review and make controls to support the manufacturing. Defining investment/expense needs, driving from preparing for approvals to completion. Participating in LEAN initiatives, and using 6 sigma tools for process improvements.
Job Description
What You’Ll Do
- Initiate and implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
- Take the lead at strategic I&E projects
- Quality root cause analysis and determine corrective actions
- Support dedicated technology (Turning, Milling, Welding, Grinding, Sheet metal manufacturing, etc),
- Responsible for Layered Process Review & Quality Stop Work actions
- Responsible for the operation of Improvement Idea System on the given area
- Support the production technology for the NPI’s, (tooling, fixturing, programming)
- Support the first 5 sets production
- Daily product/manufacturing support in relevant areas
- Support stable production documentation for the production at NPI’s (IS, BOM, Routing)
- Leading the manufacturing engineering team and support them by technology experience
- Participate in determination of priorities for manufacturing engineers and help them to reach their goals
- Bring new ideas and positive support to the current process
- Support COQ actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
- Development of work instructions and procedures to support operator training and process control
- Active participation in the maintenance and improvement of EHS culture
- Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area
- Participates in LEAN initiatives, support AWO actions to completion
- Participate to improve manufacturing layout/flow analysis/workers and machine needs.
What You Will Bring:
- Mechanical engineering degree (MSc, BSc)
- Significant experience in mechanical industry (heavy industry ideally)
- Be familiar in CNC machine programming or EDM/Welding/Grinding/Sheet Metal Technology
- Fluent in English and Hungarian
- Knowledge in quality/productivity/lean tools
- Team player behaviour, open minded and energetic personality
- Able to work with office automation (Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project)
