About the Team & Business Line: 

Citco is looking for an Associate for Citco Capital Solutions (CCS), a fund finance and capital markets team. This is a unique opportunity to join a high growth division of an established company engaged in a broad range of fund finance activities, including lending and advisory work. The team focuses on:

  • Lending to alternative fund managers and investors via capital call, NAV, and hybrid credit facilities
  • Structuring syndication relationships with investment partners to optimize in-house balance sheet activities
  • Advisory work for alternative managers for debt, equity, and secondaries trades
  • Working on execution of strategic projects

Your Role: 

  • Conduct due diligence and prepare analysis, research, and financial projections for transactions 
  • Prepare transaction-related credit and investment memos for committee decisions
  • Direct and mentor an Analyst who will assist in financial modeling, due diligence, and credit monitoring
  • Manage and monitor existing loans to clients and work with the loan operations team to set up and maintain existing deals
  • Co-ordinate with Managing Directors to achieve team goals
  • Partner with professionals across the Citco platform to assist with transactions 
  • Attend client meetings to help with business development, structuring, and due diligence 
  • Maintain relationships with large, institutional debt investors to encourage direct dialogue and partnership opportunities 
  • Assist with syndication of debt and equity 
  • Help manage various initiatives conducted by the broker-dealer 
  • Opportunity for rapid career growth and promotion

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related field (required) 
  • Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in fund finance (preferred) or other credit origination 
  • Thorough understanding of financial and credit analysis, valuation, primary fundamental research and their application in investment decisions, and transaction structuring 
  • Strong understanding of alternative funds (fund types, asset classes, structures) 
  • Entrepreneurial, business-building mindset with strong relationship-building mentality
  • Team player with a willingness and ability to work across all alternative products and geographic lines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Highly motivated and must have strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

 

Salary Range: USD $93,000 - $145,000
