Senior Software Engineer, AI/ML, LearnX

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience in AI/ML, including experience with building, training, evaluating, or deploying deep learning models.
• 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience applying research to improve large language or computer vision models.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and analysis.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, JAX, or PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to understand user needs and with AI researchers to leverage and contribute to AI advancements.
• Analyze AI model performance, diagnose loss patterns, and implement innovative AI solutions to enhance educational user journeys.
• Take ownership of AI model quality in STEM and multimodal learning. Lead the creation of high-quality, specialized datasets to train and evaluate the models.
• Drive the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure to support efficient model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Mentor other engineers on the team, foster technical growth and share expertise in AI/ML best practices and model development.
