- 11 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or in product roles, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience working with digital organizations.
- Experience identifying client’s challenges to defining customer and product strategy, enabling long-term opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in buying, selling, or executing sponsorships or streaming/digital video.
- Understanding of the YouTube ecosystem and media/marketing landscape.
- Understanding of the buying requirements and timelines associated with the US streaming market.
- Ability to build relationships with agency/video advertising stakeholders.
- Excellent collaboration skills.

A Sponsorship and Creator Sales Lead is a proactive and specialized video seller that thrives in a fluid, complex cross-functional environment. You have a passion for helping to build demand, negotiate and close sponsorship packages, creator brand agreements and disrupt the ever-changing video landscape. You have an understanding of how YouTube sponsorships and creator partnerships can support an advertiser’s business objectives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead upfront and in-quarter sponsorship pitches across Holding Companies/Operating Companies (pitch preparation and delivery; meetings with top agency account teams; closing sale in coordination with agreement lead).
- Hit the quarter sales targets through agreement activation (in-quarter sponsorship opportunities) and close collaboration with internal and external account teams.
- Manage the end-to-end process of pitching, negotiating, and closing 12-month creator endorsement agreements with agencies and clients.
- Build relationships with agency investment and sponsorship teams to drive successful share shift in both the upfront and in-quarter market.
- Scale individual team efforts into a uniform team approach (i.e. cross-team best practice sharing; standardizing agreement-related sales materials, etc.).
