You’ll be based at International Towers Barangaroo, one of Australia’s most sustainable and award-winning workplaces, with the flexibility of 3 days in-office and 2 days working from home.

The Strategy Analyst supports the GrainCorp Strategy team in the analysis, development and delivery of strategy and strategic initiatives.

Specifically, you will:
 

• Support the Strategy Managers, Head of Strategy and other business leaders to contribute to strategic workstreams or standalone projects
• Preparation and delivery of “board-ready” presentations and reports to the Executive Leadership Team and Board with limited supervision
• Developing effective and constructive relationships across all levels of GrainCorp, gaining trust across the business as a capable and safe pair of hands
  
  

You’ll have regular interactions with senior levels of our organisation, the opportunity to be involved in identifying and analysing opportunities, actively contributing to business case development and learning from collaborative and supportive strategy professionals with deep industry experience.

Your experience
Our ideal candidate is a creative thinker with natural curiosity and the confidence to develop and test their ideas, and to challenge the status quo. You’re a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and have outstanding communication skills for a wide/diverse audience and across mediums. Additionally, you’ll have:
 

• Previous experience gained in advisory, management consulting or inhouse strategy setting
• The ability to see beyond the ask; to truly understand the problem/challenge at hand and complete the required high-quality analysis to solve it
• Exceptional presentation skills, with high proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite
• Exceptional modelling skills
• Self-motivated and curious, always seeking out opportunities to learn and dig beyond the obvious to challenge the status quo
