Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to:
- Develops, implements and evaluates the bank’s human capital (resources) policies and procedures.
- Evaluates and recommends new approaches to continually improve efficiency consistent with the corporate goals and objectives.
- Coordinates the talent acquisition and retention efforts for the organization including; recruitment, applicant tracking and hiring, and assisting with employee relation issues.
- Administers the company’s salary administration and benefit programs ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and reporting requirements.
- Works with the Director of Employee Development and Services Strategies to ensure both departments are working towards creating an employer of choice culture and consist application of processes throughout the organization.
- Serves as a backup for other position(s) and performs other duties, as assigned. *
- Enhances career through work experience and continuing education. *
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. *
- Participates and responds to examinations, audits and third party reviews. *
- Complies with the Information Security Program and is accountable for maintaining a high level of risk and security awareness. *
- Establishes a good image for the Bank by being active and visible in the community. *
- Attends meetings as assigned. *
- Develops a working knowledge of the Bank’s products and services through usage and webex attendance to provide quality customer service while building relationships and exceeding expectations. *
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation and development of reporting staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education & Experience
Associates degree (A. A.) required; five to ten years of related experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language
Above average verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to outlying branch areas, as business needs dictate.
Certification through HRCI or SHRM required; if not certified, willingness to achieve within three years of employment.
