Teknion Solutions Woodwork is seeking a dynamic and highly organized Human Resources Co-ordinator to be the central hub of our office. This position reports to the General Manager with oversight from the VP of Human Resources in our Toronto Corporate Head Office. You will be instrumental in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment to offboarding, while simultaneously ensuring the seamless and professional operation of our office.

Strategic Partnership & Leadership
- Act as a lead ambassador of our culture and shared values, helping to cultivate a positive and collaborative workplace.
- Develop HR strategies and programs that align with Teknion’s overall business objectives.
- Partner with other Human Resources departments across the entire Teknion network to ensure collaboration and consistency on new ventures and shared policies.
Recruitment & Staffing
- Plan and direct full-cycle recruiting activities, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the job offer process.
- Maintain a list of open roles and positions with a clear understanding of how they tie back to the budget and timing.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, including new hire orientation, paperwork, and exit procedures.
Employee Relations & Development
- Serve as a key HR contact, supporting employees with policy inquiries and assisting in supporting collaborative problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Support performance management cycles and annual increase processes.
- Work with Teknion Corporate HR to design and deliver training programs, with a specific focus on our manufacturing team members.
- Contribute to employee development programs.
Compensation & Compliance
- Communicate and implement workplace policies and programs related to compensation, benefits, equal employment opportunities, and employee relations.
- Analyze and execute compensation strategies, including supporting the annual increase process and assist in managing salary ranges and promotions.
- Support the maintenance and compliance of human resources information systems and payroll systems.
- Ensure that all policies and practices comply with federal, provincial, and local laws.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Corporate HR and Payroll to manage critical timelines ensuring prompt completion of all shared tasks and deadlines.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to handle a variety of tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace; experience with an HRIS is a plus.
- Positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude, thriving in a collaborative team.
