UI Developer - Frontend Applications Engineer

You will be a part of the core team that redefines how a product should be sold at Pure Storage! You will develop and deliver software product(s) and APIs to help differentiate Pure from our competitors.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE...

• Responsible for the frontend development of Pure’s user interface ensuring an enhanced user experience, reusability, consistency, reliability, speed and security.
• At the center of the continuous evolution of Pure’s UI & UX, you will be closely collaborating with the product manager and the engineers.
• Experimenting with new technologies and UX/UI design patterns in order to push the state-of-the-art and innovate new solutions
• Identify requirements and take solutions from initial design to production
• Must be willing and able to work in an open office, highly collaborative team environment

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 4+ years of experience working on UI and front-end web engineering
• Strong experience with React is a MUST
• Javascript, jQuery and CSS, HTML 5
• Experience working with REST API design and implementation
• Good understanding of UI design patterns, MVC Model view control
• Understanding of design/UX principles and ability to participate in design discussions.
• Experience in developing secure web applications and knowledge of application vulnerabilities such as Cross Site Scripting (XSS), Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF)
• Experience with containers is a plus
