About The Role

We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Python, and CSS, with familiarity in React. Experience with Next.js is also needed, as this is primarily a full-stack role with expert experience in AWS. In this role, you will develop high-quality, scalable, and innovative applications that meet the needs of our clients. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of providing state-of-the-art digital solutions by creating efficient, secure, and flexible software systems that stand the test of time.

• Develop Python-based solutions with a focus on REST APIs, pass-through middleware services, and occasional ETL pipelines.
• Design and build full-stack applications within AWS infrastructure, utilizing Python, React, and containerization best practices (e.g., Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Create, implement, and maintain well-documented Python APIs and manage pass-through data integrations.
• Provide technical guidance on API development and lead efforts around data migration from legacy systems.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to gather and understand business and technical requirements.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, offering insights to improve the team's technical capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable code following object-oriented programming principles and established design patterns.

Requirements

What You Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in the software industry
• 5+ years of technical delivery and ownership of full-stack projects using React, Python, and Cloud services

• Containerization (Docker)

• Deployment Pipelines

• Proficient with version control tools such as GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket
• Proven ability to identify and drive high-impact projects that align with company strategy
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, including:
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• 3+ years of experience with CSS and styling front-end applications
• 2+ years of experience with React
• 2+ years of experience with Next.js (including App Router and Server Components)
• Proficiency in writing semantic HTML
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Experience managing OpenAPI Specification (OAS) documentation
