A Captain at CVS Health will act a as pilot-in-command or second-in-command as assigned by the Chief Pilot. Safety is of the upmost importance at CVS Health and the Captain will ensure that all company procedures and processes will be followed. The Captain will assist with the loading and unloading of baggage and ensure the aircraft is cleaned and stocked. There may also be required additional aviation duties that will be assigned by the Chief Pilot.

 

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safe and efficient conduct of assigned flights.

• Serves as the Inflight Security Coordinator.

• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, local, and foreign regulations, as well as company policies and procedures specified in the AOM.

• Ensures compliance with all applicable FAA and State Regulations in which operations are conducted.

• Acts with tact and decorum while ensuring an efficient and safe operation.

• Directs the activities of the Second-in-Command and ensures that all crewmembers understand fully and completely what duties they are expected to perform.

• Participates in the Safety Management System.

NOTE: Must live within 2 hours of Providence, RI airport!

 

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional work experience and 1000+ hours of jet time

• Recent experience as a Captain

• Airline Transport Pilot ( ATP ) Type Rating 

• Valid First-Class Medical Certificate

• FCC Radio License 

• Valid Passport

 

Preferred Qualifications

• DA-2EASY TYPE RATING

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
