• Biomedical Engineering

Position Summary

• Oversees and contributes to the design and execution of experiments, including time-course studies for multiplexed immunoassays and protein profiling in patient samples (e.g., supernatant or plasma).
• Participates in the development and optimization of multiplexed immunoassay platforms and microfluidic technologies for laboratory-based research
• Assists with the design and execution of experiments involving multiplexed immunoassays, including calibration, validation, and troubleshooting of assay performance
• Learns and applies standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the use of multiplexed immunoassay platforms in the analysis of biological samples
• Performs laboratory work related to assay development, including reagent preparation, sample handling, and equipment maintenance
• Compiles and records experimental data generated from immunoassay and microfluidic systems in accordance with research protocols
• May write theoretical or methodological reports, papers or articles related to research activities.
• Co-manage project, work and collaborate with engineers, scientists and clinicians
• Contribute to writing scientific manuscripts and assists with grant applications.

Minimum Education and experience

• Possesses specialized knowledge of the field or discipline acquired through a Master’s Degree
• Immunoassay Platform and Point-of-Care research fields
