Principle Engineer - CPQ UXThis role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develops organization-wide architectures and methodologies for design and development of complex products, services and solutions across multiple engineering disciplines and organizations.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced development partner relationships for alignment with technology roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into the CPQ UX.
• Leads complex introductions and reviews and evaluates overall designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; integrates suggestions, updates, and innovations into overall architecture.
• Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
• Manages overall roadmap for all offers going through CPQ launch activities
• Manages and expands relationships on  product/services offer design and development to generate the best CPQ user experience.
• Actively support the offer core team with solution guidance, proposal development, updates, and presentations
• Collaborate with config rules and pricing teams to drive outcomes
• Share expertise by mentoring peers and participating in knowledge transfer and internal enablement programs
• Understand cross-functional roles and engage effectively with internal teams and external partners

About You:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience.in a Solution Architect, KES engineer, Systems Engineer, or Presales role
• Fluent in English
• User experience (UX) skills
• History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for designs
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experienced in designing and supporting complex introduction of new offers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
• Able to understand and align with customer value chains, technical innovations, and evolving industry trends
• Knowledgeable in HPE product and services portfolio
• A collaborative team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, able to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment
