Resident Services Ambassador
Who We Look For:
The Resident Services Ambassador reports to the Resident Lifestyle Supervisor /Resident Services Assistant Manager, Residential Manager, and subsequently to the Director of Residences.
The Resident Services Ambassador is a Residential generalist role, assisting in all aspects of the Residential experience, for Golden Oak Phase III Homeowners Association and Florian Park Condominium Association
.
The Resident Services Ambassador role requires great flexibility to work in all areas of Residential, including resident concierge services, front door and bell services, outdoor pool service, and all other areas impacting Residential experience.
The Resident Services Ambassador role covers a 24-hour operation, and flexibility of shift schedule will be required. A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, and ability to work mornings, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism – accommodating special requests whenever possible and anticipate resident needs.
- Support collaboration between entities within community, including Condominium Association, Homeowners Association, Golden Oak Non-Residential Association, Golden Oak Club, Golf & Sport Club and Resort.
Concierge Responsibilities:
- Develop strong professional relationships with residents, family and guests. Provide assistance to residents whilst liaising with all resort departments, finding resolution to resident day-to-day requests, issues and concerns.
- Provide information regarding hotel and resident events, outlets and amenities, common area services and a la carte requests.
- Update homeowner, resident and unit profiles with any relevant information
- Provide administrative support to create resident spotlights, assist with creation of newsletter, event flyers, cards, messages, and other administrative duties.
- Make recommendations based on local knowledge and residential best practices.
- Coordinate routine maintenance tasks with outside vendors and communicate schedules with residents.
- Support pre-and-post storm preparations, wherever necessary and where possible, support operation during storm.
- Keep colleagues and leadership well informed as to any Resident problems, complaints, concerns, special requests, using appropriate channels, and proactively take appropriate action.
- Support set up and breakdown of events and activities, interact with residents during resident events and offerings.
Front Drive/Bell Services Responsibilities:
- Welcome residents and visitors, assist with loading and unloading, manage vehicle movement on the front driveway and parking garage, and co-ordinate any valet parking needs.
- Ensure smooth handling and delivery of resident luggage, packages, groceries, message delivery and/or special requests.
Public Areas/Recreation Responsibilities:
- Assist with servicing residential pool experience, including provision of towels, assisting with food orders, beverages, amenities, seating, wipe down, set up and move, when necessary, pool deck equipment
- Assist with ensuring the building and grounds is clean and well maintained
- Ensure all Residential Common Areas (front and heart of house) are in optimal condition of cleanliness, tidiness, and maintenance, at all times, through regular checks, inspections, reporting deficiencies and actively keeping area clean.
- Manage access control and requests for all residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Ensure common areas are secured, with safety in mind.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Professional and courteous attitude; deals effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts, in a positive, friendly, accurate and timely manner
- Ability to display a high level of integrity, maintaining confidentiality of unit owner information
- Ability to promote positive relationships with all unit owners, team, and third parties
- Ability to work cohesively with other departments as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.
- Ability to focus attention on details, be well organized and follow up
- Ability to solve problems confidently, think outside the box, with strong communication and conflict resolution skills, finding resolution to resident day-to-day concerns
- Ability to respond properly in any residence and/or hotel emergency or safety situation
- Ability to perform all other tasks or projects as assigned by leadership and staff
- Excellent communication skills, proficient in verbal and written communication, confidence to demonstrate the passion to provide excellent service to our residents.
- Computer literate, ability to use variety of software, including Golden Home, Property Management Systems, Key systems, HotSos, Four Seasons APP/CHAT, Outlook, Emails.
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- CPR/First Aid certification (Training will be provided, but must have ability to complete)
A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with ability to work weekends, holidays, or any shift time frame including evenings and overnights.
Must be High School Graduate or Equivalent Degree
Previous experience in hospitality industry, preferably five-star hotel or residences, Four Seasons experience preferred
Must be fluent in English (written and verbal), and possess legal work authorization in the United States. Additional languages considered an asset but not required
