About The Location:
The Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences at Puerto Rico is a collection of 139 hotel rooms and 84 private residences. Situated on 483 acres with two miles of beach frontage, award-winning golf, an expansive wildlife sanctuary, nature trails and a lagoon complete with paddle boarding, fishing, and a water playground.About the role:
The Banquets Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all banquet events within the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and seamless execution. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team, maintain high standards of service, and work closely with other departments such as Sales, Culinary, and Events Coordination.
What You Will Do:
- Oversee all aspects of banquet operations from setup to breakdown, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Supervise, train, and schedule banquet staff
- Coordinate with the kitchen and catering teams to ensure accurate food and beverage service aligned with guest expectations.
- Review banquet event orders (BEOs) and conduct pre-event meetings to confirm event details.
- Maintain inventory of banquet equipment and supplies; ensure proper care and storage.
- Manage banquet budget and control costs while maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate with the sales and events teams to improve event offerings and guest satisfaction.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- A minimum of three (3) years working as Banquet Manager or similar role as a department head
- Two (2) + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset
- Requires Knowledge in Micros and Opera System
- Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
- Basic understanding of financials (e.g. labor cost, P&L, inventory)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Requires knowledge of how to operate computer equipment
