HUB Operations Manager (m/f/x)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an HUB Operations Manager for the EMEA Logistics Operation, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

Overseeing HUB operations within the European HUB & Spoke network.
Adjusting M3 system settings (3M's bespoke logistics software) to optimize consignments and reduce freight costs.
Deploying and implementing new M3 HUBs across the EMEA region.
Training 3PLs and reship HUBs in EMEA on operations and technical specifications in M3.
Establishing EDI connections with 3PL systems and ensuring seamless integration for flawless data exchange.
Conducting HUB audits and promoting best practice sharing to drive continuous improvement across all processes.
Analyzing and addressing requests from 3PLs and 3M reship HUBs for M3 enhancements, implementing critical changes with our partner MixMove.
Collaborating closely with the regional transportation team to enhance the regional distribution networ

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration with various 3M departments and external logistics partners, and for translating customer requirements into logistical strategies.
Proficient experience with M3 and/or TMS systems.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a virtual international team spread across multiple countries and regions.
Extensive knowledge and experience in logistics operations, processes, and systems, including M3 and SAP TMS.

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Leading the implementation and ongoing management of transportation systems like M3 and SAP TMS.
Collaborating with Customer Service Operations and Business teams on regional service improvement projects.
Enhancing transport processes, including line haul, parcel, HUB operations, last mile delivery, and consolidation activities.
Streamlining processes and system landscapes in partnership with HUB operations, transportation, and IT teams.

Job specifics:

Location - Flexible in any of the following - Lisbon, Portugal , Rugby, UK, Madrid, Spain or Wroclaw, Poland
Travel expectations - Includes up to 20% domestic/international travel
Working pattern - Full time
