Job Summary
Job Description
DUTIES: Design and develop new software and web applications in an Agile development environment using Python; use Adobe Campaign Classic to access, process, and prepare data for building marketing campaigns; develop infrastructure as code using Terraform; work with AWS cloud technology and processors; test APIs using Postman; test Python code using Pytest; develop software in SQL databases including Oracle; use PL/SQL Developer to access data; use Draw.io to create and review software solutions diagrams; use the MS Office suite to track projects and data, and perform knowledge transfers; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative science field, and two (2) years of experience developing software in an Agile development environment using Python; testing APIs using Postman; testing Python code using Pytest; working with cloud technologies including AWS or Azure; developing software in SQL databases including Oracle; using PL/SQL Developer to access data; using Draw.io to create and review software solutions diagrams; using the MS Office suite to track projects and data, and perform knowledge transfers.
