Job Title:  Principal Systems Engineer

Join Fidelity’s Enterprise Cybersecurity business unit as a member of the Privileged Access Management (PAM) Command Elevation team. This high-visibility, dynamic team delivers critical access management services across all Fidelity business units. In this role, you will be responsible for owning and operating Fidelity’s enterprise-class Delinea application suite, including Server Suite and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM), supporting a workforce of over 75,000 and thousands of business applications. The role requires strong expertise across multiple operating systems including Linux, Windows Server, Windows Workstation, and macOS. 

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and operate Delinea applications including Server Suite (Direct Authorize, Direct Control, Direct Audit), and Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM). Design, develop, and enhance access management capabilities aligned with Fidelity’s cybersecurity policies. 
• Manage production environments across Linux, Windows Server, Windows Workstation, and macOS, including: 
• Monitoring and performance optimization Capacity planning and upgrades 

• Disaster Recovery Certification

• Metrics analysis and trend reporting Participate in Agile sprint planning, providing prioritization and realistic effort estimates. 
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency and delivery velocity. 
• Perform incident, change and release management work for operations support 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Delinea applications, including Server Suite Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM). 
• Delinea certifications (e.g., Delinea Certified Engineer, Delinea Certified Administrator, or product-specific certifications for Server Suite and EPM) are strongly preferred. 
• Strong background in systems and application management on Linux, Windows Server, Windows Workstation, and macOS platforms. Experience with cloud architecture and application deployment/migration in AWS or Microsoft Azure. 
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls and load balancers. 
• Demonstrated expertise in Linux and Windows authentication and authorization mechanisms, including PAM, sudo/dzdo, Kerberos and Active Directory Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex system-level issues in Linux environments with strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. 
• Proven ability to lead small technical teams and independently design system architectures. 

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Chef, Artifactory, AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, EC2, Lambda, Docker/Kubernetes, and KMS. Advanced scripting and automation skills, particularly in Python and Ansible. 
• Experience developing customized workflows and automated processes within vendor applications, including Delinea Server Suite and EPM. 
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting to both technical and business audiences.
