Job Description:

About The Role

The selected candidate will work under a fixed-term contract for a period of 6 months (with the possibility of extension) in the Finance Department in the Transactions area within the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities

• Creation of a clear and traceable database of financial representatives and authorized signatories for the bank accounts of all the companies in the Group.
• Record the requests made to the banks, their responses and the actions required to reconcile the company’s internal databases with those of the financial institutions.
• Communicating with other areas of the finance department and the legal teams to collect the necessary information and send it to the banks after verification.
• Updating the existing databases in the systems and uploading all required information to the designated platforms.
• Monthly periodic report in PowerPoint.
• Supporting other treasury areas in the compliance verification process.
• Continuous follow-up of requests to meet deadlines set by internal SOX requirements.
• Maintaining day-to-day operational relationships with financial institutions.
• Management of digital and/or physical archiving.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience with financial institutions or in the legal/commercial area is desirable.
• Valuable knowledge of SAP and English.
• Organized individual.
• Initiative and proactivity to follow up on responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
