Our Newest Opportunity:
The Business Data Analyst Intern supports the National Operations Team in driving data quality, analysis, and reporting initiatives that contribute to operational excellence. This internship offers hands-on experience in data validation, auditing, and reporting across multiple platforms. The intern will assist in maintaining data integrity, documenting standards, and supporting strategic insights through manual and automated processes. This role is ideal for students or early-career professionals seeking exposure to business operations, data analytics, and workflow analysis in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Review and validate reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Audit data to identify missing information, inconsistencies, or errors.
- Work with relevant stakeholders and data sets to enrich or correct data.
- Compile and review audit results, coordinating with team members to implement improvements.
- Support efforts to analyze and clean data while tracking progress and recording outcomes.
- Analyze discrepancies in data from multiple sources and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Perform manual reviews of files and ensure proper formatting.
- Assist with documenting business practices, standards, and data definitions to support consistent reporting.
- Contribute to the development and validation of performance reports and dashboards.
- Provide administrative support for project tracking, spend analysis, and vendor data organization.
- Support operations projects as assigned, contributing to team goals and developing workflow analysis.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Analytical mindset with ability to identify trends and inconsistencies
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must
- Experience with other Microsoft software including Word, Outlook and Teams (Loop, Power BI and D365 experience a plus)
- Eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment
- Maintains confidentiality and professionalism
Education, Training and Experience:
- Completed or actively completing education in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related
- Proven ability to self-manage tasks and timelines

- 30 hours/week
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
- Primarily sedentary work with extensive computer use.
- Role involves access to highly confidential financial and client data; discretion is essential.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong critical thinking are required.
The typical base pay for this role nationwide is $22 per hour.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
