We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with finance knowledge and strong MS Office proficiency, particularly advanced Excel skills, to support credit operations through day-to-day reporting, compliance checks, and transformation initiatives.

This role demands a combination of data expertise, process discipline, and a continuous improvement mindset to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in credit operations. The candidate must have proven experience in reporting and compliance, with the ability to prepare and present monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) — both in written and oral form — to all levels of company management.

The position may also include special operational projects, participation in department initiatives, and execution of administrative tasks as needed. Minimal travel is required, and remote work is allowed

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate performance of a full range of credit tasks (New Customers’ Credit Assessment, Periodic Review of Existing Customers & Thorough Review of Ad-hoc Credit Limit increase requests)
  • Should possess a clear understanding of Company Financials (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements)
  • Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
  • Analyze / approve new account applications (Credit limit assessment)
  • Responsible to categorize the customers basis the risk (High, Medium & Low)
  • Preparation and reporting of business unit wise Credit Reports
  • Keep up to date with the company’s Global Credit Policy and Standard payment terms policy.
  • Reinstate or suspend accounts based on credit policies and payment behavior
  • To continuously seek out better ways of performing the processes and support process improvement initiatives
  • To ensure compliance to applicable policies, SOX guidelines, and regulation
  • Audit support for own BU and any other assigned BU on internal and external Audit

How will you do it?

  • Adherence to company’s Global Credit Policy (in detail) and Standard payment term policy and a thorough knowledge of it
  • Conduct thorough Credit Risk Analysis/Credit Lien of financial statements and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, change requests and Periodic Reviews
  • Ensure performance measures are met or exceeded in a timely manner
  • Based on sales demand review customer past trend and propose for additional Credit Limit
  • Adhere to the DOA and seek necessary approvals before setting up the credit limits
  • Updating approved credit limits to the ERP system via liaising with CMD team
  • Ensure compliance to statutory regulations, SOX, documentation required for completion assigned task.
  • Efficiently function during monthly, quarterly and annual closing to manage the request volume and ensuring completion of all requests within defined SLA.

What we look for

Required

  • Graduate / Postgraduate / master’s degree in commerce or relevant experience.
  • 4-7+ years of finance operations experience

Preferred

  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication skills would be preferred
  • Working experience within a shared services environment, Multinational Corporation or Global firms are desired
  • 3-4 Years of experience required in combination of Credit & Collection and work experience on ERPs (SAP experience is desired).
  • Should have in depth knowledge of all the parameters which will help evaluating the credit worthiness of the customers
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research, including
  • Essential: minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage meeting deadlines and flexible enough to work in a pressured work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data
  • Should have a clear understanding of CRA (Credit Rating Agencies), Credit Ratings (D&B Ratings preferred), Payment Plan, Bank References, Trade References, Different types of Guarantees, Different Payment Terms, Group Credit Limit (Parent & Subsidiary Ownership) etc.
  • Good understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts
  • Ability to utilize basic formulas
  • Utilize Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
