This will be a remote position, some on-site meetings - hours vary 730am-500pm

Pay Range

$32.45 - $48.70

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree, preferably accounting or finance related and three years' progressive work experience in financial analysis or accounting; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: N/A

Essential Functions:

  1. Gathers, compiles, and prepares information for financial reports, analyses, and graphs for use by senior level Medical School administration.
  2. Participates in business/financial/operational plan development and analysis. Participates in meetings providing input as appropriate.
  3. Plans, develops and coordinates the preparation of complex financial analyses and reports which may include financial statements, cost analyses, revenue and expense trends, and statistical reports.
  4. Coordinates and participates in the preparation of various financial reports and analyses for senior management and external agencies.
  5. Assists senior staff with projects and presentations of complex financial information.
  6. Maintains effective liaison with internal departments, WFUHS/Medical Center/NCBH administration, external auditors, etc. for the purpose of identifying, assembling and analyzing financial information.
  7. Develops, implements, and manages new and revised financial management systems, cost accounting systems, and financial policies and procedures.
  8. Assists with budget process, year-end close process, and/or variance remediation as requested.
  9. Ensures compliance with regulations and reporting requirements.
  10. May perform lead role in coordinating complex projects by overseeing the work of others.
  11. Understands industry trends, network with colleagues at other institutions, and evaluate the impact of operating initiatives on the financial status of the Medical School.
  12. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
