Banquet Server - OC

Position Summary:

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing banquet dining service and special event support to all Guests in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner displaying a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. 1.    Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
2. 2.    Deliver food orders following the sequence of service. Monitor Guest needs ensuring all requests are promptly fulfilled in their function assignment.
3. 3.    Participate as a Team Member with staff in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation that meets the highest standards of customer service.
4. 4.    Assist with event preparation, set up, and closing, including, but not limited to setting up and packing away tables, table cloths and place settings, and buffets.
5. 5.    Respond to Guest questions and concerns, and direct concerns to appropriate management.
6. 6.    Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen.
7. 7.    Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude, and perform duties with a professional appearance and mannerism.
8. 8.    Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous service to Guests according to departmental standards.
9. 9.    Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices. Ensure that all areas are kept clean and free of any potential hazards.
10. 10.    Maintain knowledge of all available menu items and service requirements.
