The Senior Merchandiser Wholesale, Men’s, leads product strategy, assortment creation and evolution for the Men’s businesses including Sportswear, Tommy Jean’s, and Accessories. This role is responsible for influencing the Global TH Collections to execute assortment and product strategies that balance brand vision, trend and business drives while delivering on internal financial and sales goals. This position collaborates and communicates closely with cross functional teams such as Global Merchandising, Sales, and Planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee North America Men’s merchandising strategy and regional communication to Global hub for 3 Divisions – Sportswear, TJ, Accessories (500 styles and 1400 skus annually)
  • Work with Senior Director to develop short and long term product assortment strategies for the Wholesale channel that align with the Brand vision, financial plan and Customer Experience goals
  • Build the line architecture inclusive of SKU counts, Key Consumer Messages, and financial targets and ensure that Global team delivers on regional specific needs
  • Ability to react quickly and speak clearly on behalf of the North America Region in Global Cross Functional Meetings to provide insight and feedback on what is required to drive business quarterly
  • Manage all Global Men’s milestone meetings and seasonal calendar cycle to ensure strong execution of End to End process and deadline adherence
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Global Merchandising to influence and ensure Regional product needs are met
  • Work with Planning to Prepare and maintain detailed assortment roll-ups to ensure KPI’s are met and aligned to overall strategy and plan
  • Deliver and curate compelling product assortments that are brand enhancing and customer focused, inclusive of door recommends through climate, pricing and region
  • Partner with Senior Director to Plan, coordinate, and support showroom set-up
  • Own Key Pre Market Milestones such as Pre Line with Accounts, Collection Handover, and Wholesale Line Adoption to clearly present seasonal strategies, product build up, fixture assortments, and price architecture to educate sales teams at multiple touchpoints prior to sell in
  • Support Sales during and post market with market requests, assortment additions / edits
  • Work with Merch Ops to ensure smooth and timely execution of post- market system requirements
  • Analyze category performance and drive category strategies to maximize growth
  • Leads by example and operates optimally in the face of change and pressure
  • Provides leadership within the merchandising team by advising, focusing and motivating team members
  • Supervises development and performance of direct reports through regular meetings to discuss deadlines, expectations, performance and development
  • Continuously works towards innovate and improve our business and processes

Qualifications:

  • College degree; Business or Merchandising preferred
  •  7+ years’ experience in related Merchandising/Buying positions                
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proactive in anticipating the needs of dept
  • The Senior Merchandiser should be equipped with selling and trend information in order to make decisions on future product assortments.  Able to support decisions with sales and competitive information in order to present to and gain confidence of management in the departmental strategies
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines.  Detail oriented/innovative traits are necessary.   Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency.  Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and priorities

Pay Range:$101,300---$137,000PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
