The Opportunity:  

We’re looking for a technically skilled and people-savvy Finance Systems Manager to lead a small but highly capable team within our Global Finance Systems function. This role blends leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement to support and champion the systems that underpin our finance function.

You’ll bring a strong IT understanding to the role, acting as an escalation point for complex issues and ensuring the team’s work is clearly communicated and valued across the business. With a solid understanding of finance systems and agile methodologies, you’ll help drive improvements, manage stakeholder expectations, and support delivery across platforms like Oracle Fusion and TM1.

Your New Role:  

  • Lead and support a small team of technically skilled analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and escalation support.

  • Support agile delivery processes and drive the continuous improvement and development of processes and systems across finance and accounting aligned to strategic objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Department and wider local and Global functions to determine requirements and understand issues.

  • Champion the team’s work by presenting updates, insights, and outcomes to senior stakeholders.

  • Act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring system incidents, enhancements, and solutions are delivered effectively.

  • Engage with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to manage and monitor performance and progress.

  • Collaborate with process owners to gather requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

  • Navigate complex stakeholder relationships, managing expectations and driving alignment across departments.

About you:   

  • Strong IT background with hands-on experience in finance systems.

  • Finance knowledge is highly beneficial

  • Proven experience with Oracle Fusion

  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage challenging stakeholders and present technical work clearly.

  • Experience leading or managing teams, with a collaborative and supportive leadership style.

  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and how finance processes integrate with technology.
