About the opportunity

The Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in optimising occupancy and delivering a seamless customer experience throughout the aged care admissions process. Working closely with Service Managers in a region, they help drive occupancy rates by simplifying procedures and guiding families with empathy and professionalism.

A meticulous approach to contract management and paperwork is essential to ensure smooth transitions into care and to mitigate financial risk and potential debt. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to supporting residents and their families during a significant life transition.

What you’ll bring
You bring a strong background in aged care sales and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. With meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset, you ensure every admission is seamless and compliant. Your ability to communicate clearly, manage complex paperwork, and build trusted relationships with families and referrers makes you a key contributor to occupancy growth and service excellence. You embody Mercy Health’s values, demonstrating integrity, compassion, and professionalism in everything you do.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Deliver warm, responsive customer service to families, residents, and referrers

  • Confidently manage the full admissions journey—from enquiry to signed agreement

  • Maintain meticulous attention to detail in contracts and paperwork to ensure smooth transitions and reduce financial risk

  • Stay organised and proactive in managing leads, using CRM systems to track and convert enquiries

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
