A Day in the Life

This cross-functional internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of product marketing, operations, and finance within the Western Europe Aortic operating unit. As a Product Operations & Analytics Intern, you will analyze inventory levels, support business planning, and develop data-driven insights to optimize operations and inform strategic decisions. In this role, you will directly contribute to improved product inventory management, operational efficiency, and commercial success across the region.

Internship details:

• Start date: October
• Duration: 6 months
• Working hours: 40 hours per week
• Working model: remote with possibility to work from the office in Milan
• Location: Italy

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Supporting the analysis of product inventory levels across regions to ensure optimized field presence and minimize excess or shortage risks
• Supporting Integrated Business Planning processes and contributing to Western Europe inventory management process optimization
• Preparing presentations for senior stakeholders
• Helping identify opportunities to streamline reporting or improve operational processes
• Analyzing market dynamics of our products and regions, and providing insightful reports
• Updating and advancing reporting tools to address new needs in a fast-changing environment, leveraging Data Science tools, software, and techniques to build meaningful analysis

Required knowledge:

• Recent graduate in Economics, Business, Marketing, Finance, or Biomedical Engineering
• Fluency in English (C1 or above preferred)
• Advanced skills in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, VBA/macros)
• Advanced Power BI (dashboard creation/customization, data modeling, interactive reporting)
