Senior Legal Advisor/Solicitor

The successful candidate will work closely with a range of functions across daa and with external stakeholders. The successful candidate will form part of a close knit internal legal team and will be expected to engage with the highest-level decision makers in the organisation.

Responsibilities Include:

• Play a central role in providing strategic direction on planning, environmental and regulatory aspects of complex and unique major infrastructure projects across daa. 
• Provide thought leadership while working collaboratively cross-functionally with executive and senior management on strategic infrastructure and commercial developments to provide well thought through guidance on the management and mitigation of risks.
• Provide solution driven advice to management on its available options to deal with potential stakeholder challenges. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in planning, environmental and regulatory law 
• Has exhibited strong leadership and influencing skills in complex commercial situations 
• Pro-active approach to identifying solutions and managing risk in a manner which supports business objectives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A “can do” attitude and willingness to embrace uncertainty
• A strategic thinker with ability to balance legal risk and business priorities

Desirable Experience:

• Property law experience.
