What You’Ll Be Doing:
- Architecting technical and business proposals for semiconductor companies in the US and AsiaPac regions to enable services business growth.
- Identifying market growth opportunities, customer high-value problems, and industry trends to design and present customized Synopsys solutions.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, and engineering core teams to develop go-to-market strategies aligned with customer tapeout needs.
- Presenting Synopsys’ comprehensive solution portfolio—including Tools, IPs, and Services—to drive customer interest and engagement.
- Engaging with executive and mid-level customer management to position Synopsys’s unique value and build lasting relationships.
- Building and reviewing solution proposals, including project scoping, cost/schedule estimation, RFI/RFQ responses, and drafting/reviewing SOWs.
- Monitoring project status, managing risks and change requests, and ensuring successful execution in partnership with engineering teams.
- Staying abreast of design flows, IP integration, foundry requirements, and emerging concepts like chiplets and 3D packaging.

What You’Ll Need:
- Minimum 12 years of industry experience in semiconductor design, services, or related domains.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, with a strong background in driving tape-outs at product companies.
- Expertise in key verticals including Automotive, HPC, and Aerospace & Defense, with working-level knowledge of chip design.
- Familiarity with Synopsys EDA Tools, IPs, and Services offerings, as well as third-party IPs and foundry requirements.
- Experience in building and deploying efficient, measurable global processes in a services business environment.
- Understanding of chiplets, 3D packaging concepts, and current industry trends (preferred).
- Existing network with supply chain ecosystem partners and industry executives (preferred)

You Are:
You are a seasoned design engineer with a passion for leading teams and driving complex projects to successful completion. With over 12+ years of experience in designing and verifying ASIC/FPGA devices, you excel in applying modern design processes and flows for ASIC designs. Your strong technical background is complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You possess a detailed understanding of the ASIC design flow, from microarchitecture through RTL development, verification, synthesis, and timing closure. Your expertise in System Verilog RTL coding and review of complex designs, along with your experience with vendor tooling within an ASIC development flow, makes you an invaluable asset to any team. You thrive in dynamic environments, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to innovate.
What You’Ll Be Doing:
- Manage and lead a team of 6-12 SoC/Subsystem Design Engineers for various customer engagements.
- Work with Synopsys customers to understand their needs and define design scope and activities.
- Lead and mentor a design team in day-to-day activities and grow the capabilities of the design team for future assignments.
- Understand and apply modern design processes and flows for ASIC designs.
- Partitioning and architecting designs from requirements, including high-level and microarchitecture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including verification, DFT, and physical design.
- Implementing industry-standard design methods for clocking, resets, metastability, and logical design for control/data paths.
- Developing and reviewing System Verilog RTL code for complex designs.
