In this position you will....

Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sustainable business growth and achieve targeted revenue growth for our InsurTech business in Taiwan. You will lead a nationwide sales team to devise and executive sales strategies to achieve our ambitious growth targets. You will also take initiatives to acquire new partners from targeted channels and industries and to strengthen relationship with existing partners to foster long-term strong business relationship.
You will be an ambitious goal-getter who thrives in an environment that rewards self-motivating, energetic, and result-orientated contributors with growing job scopes and career progression. You will also sit as a Director on the board of bolttech Insurance Broker Company Limited in Taiwan.

 You will be responsible for…

  • Delivering key business goals for device protection and insurance exchange including quarterly / annual revenue targets, penetration KPIs, product mix, sales quality, effectively managing cost of acquisition budgets and delivering return on investment on marketing spend.
  • Identifying, pitching and acquiring new partners from Telco/E-commerce/Retail/Financial institutions which lead to the growth of our devise protection business.
  • Providing leadership to the sales team to develop sales objectives and initiatives that align to bolttech strategic goals in Taiwan and ensuring the financial objectives are optimally allocated to the sales team.
  • Identifying, developing, and managing the end-to-end sales journey and optimizing with technology innovation to ensure efficiency and seamless customer experience.
  • Maintaining awareness of current market conditions and competition and be proactive in implementing new strategies to address ever-changing market dynamics.
  • Proactively supporting bolttech client’s sales network and ensuring that bolttech products are well positioned in the client’s customer sales journey.
  • Reviewing service and performance standards against expectations with business partners and closely monitoring and optimizing the effectiveness and business results of promotion campaigns.
  • Collaborate with other lines of business to identify and cross-sell opportunities that suit our distribution partners’ needs and the company’s business strategy.

You will require the following qualifications and skills                                                                                                               

  • 10+ years’ experience of business development in Telco/e-Commerce/InsurTech industry, of which 3+ years’ experience in leading a sales team.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and expanding partnership network.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in Sales Concepts, Strategy, Positioning & Planning and Training Capacity.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous working experience in Telco/e-Commerce industry is highly preferred.
  • Good verbal & written skills in English.
  • Sound influencing and presentation skills.
  • Ambitious, result-oriented, self-starter.
