The Senior Patient Services Specialist functions as an integral member of the Organ Transplant team, providing support and coordination of patient care services through a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties. 
Works under the general direction of a provider or their designee, utilizing communication and administrative skills to coordinate seamless care delivery for patients in a surgical or non-surgical setting. Will act as a patient advocate to assure the patient's access to health care during their entry into and through the services of the clinic.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Associate's Degree --or-- 
  • Upon hire: Medical Terminology Certification
  • 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting preferred (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)
  • Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations
  • Equivalent from a college or technical school.
