CFO

·        Oversee all financial operations and develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.

·        Collaborate with Executive Team Members to translate strategy into actionable steps for growth and implement organization-wide financial management.

·        Ensure the company adheres to the strategic plan and provides strategic alternatives and recommendations when necessary.

·        Coordinate, analyse, and report the financial performance of the company to Management and the Board of Directors.

·        Lead discussions with the Board regarding fiscal planning and financial analysis.

·        Manage budgeting processes and oversee preparation of financial forecasts and reports.

·        Support capital raising initiatives, investor relations, and strategic partnerships.

·        Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Financial Management

·        Oversee financial operations & accounting functions to ensure compliance & accuracy.

·        Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.

·        Manage budgeting, forecasting, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

·        Implement financial controls and risk management strategies.

·        Monitor performance metrics and provide solutions to improve financial standing.

·        Manage financial systems and ensure proper documentation and fund distribution.

·        Lead and mentor the finance team to build capacity and performance.

·        Support cross-departmental cohesion and a high-performance culture.

·        Prepare for and oversee audits.

·        Manage relationships with auditors and regulatory authorities.

·        Develop policies and procedures for effective financial operations.

·        Engage stakeholders to build financial transparency.

·        Authorize final transactions in accounting software, ensuring compliance.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or ACCA/CIMA (essential).

·        Masters in Finance, Accounting, or MBA (preferred).

·        Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar finance leadership role.

·        Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.

·        Proven strategic financial planning and analysis experience.

·        Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

·        Proficiency in ERP systems

·        Must be a registered member of ZICA.

·        Valid driver’s license required.
