Social Media Marketing Specialist

This is a remote position.

• Contract: Independent Contractor
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern with a 30-minute paid break
• Client Timezone: Odenton, MD

• Develop comprehensive social media marketing strategies and detailed marketing plans for three distinct organizations
• Create content strategy and planning with monthly calendars that align with each brand’s goals and campaigns
• Develop strategies based on analytics trends and target audience insights
• Create and design graphics using provided templates while adding personal creativity and making improvement suggestions
• Edit videos and create visual content for social media platforms
• Draft engaging captions and create both visual and written hooks for scripts and content
• Execute end-to-end social media management including content creation, posting, and performance optimization
• Analyze social media performance and make data-driven optimizations to improve results
• Provide strategic recommendations for growing exposure and engagement across all three brands

Scope

• Managing social media presence for three organizations

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital marketing and social media strategy (not just basic posting and engagement)
• Strong graphic design skills with ability to work with templates and create original content
• Video editing capabilities for social media content
• Proficiency in social media analytics and data-driven strategy development
• Excellent copywriting skills for captions and content hooks
• Experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
• Availability during EST business hours
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership team
