Main Purpose
Of The Job:
Implement and manage Company compliance framework on Corporate Compliance matters to protect Company reputation and ensure that it operates in the highest standards of compliance in accordance with Group and local regulatory requirements.
May act as alternate Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) Officer when the ABCO is not available, to oversee the entire governance and management of the ABC Program.
*ABC function may move and be consolidated with the AML and Sanctions role currently under another person in Compliance in 2026.
Key Accountabilities:
· Governance and Program Implementation
o Assist the CCO in the implementation of the Group and regulatory requirements on the following subject matter areas:
§ General Insurance regulations (except AML, Conduct and Consumer Protection and Data Privacy matters)
§ Anti-Bribery and Corruption
§ Fatca
§ Cross Border
§ Regulatory Code of Conduct
§ Compliance and Ethics Code
§ Risk Assessments
§ AXA Group Standards
§ Management of Related Party Transactions
o Assist the CCO in regulatory examinations, internal and regional audit reviews, including the completion and monitoring of action items.
- o Formulate, review, modify, and disseminate policies, processes, and controls.
- o Align company policies and practices with Group guidelines and regulatory issuances.
- o Prepare management and board reports.
- o Lead the manpower and strategy planning.
- o Prepare, monitor, and implement the Compliance Operating Plan for Corporate Compliance activities.
- o Manage the Compliance officers in ensuring:
§ Timely submission of (a) quality reports to regulators and to AXA Group (b) responses to regular requests for info
§ Other activities are completed in accordance with the Compliance Operating Plan
· Risk Management
o Identify related compliance risks and formulate actions business units to monitor and guide process owners in mitigating compliance risks.
o Lead the conduct of compliance risk assessment and analysis on an annual basis in collaboration with the Risk Management team, including the documentation of the results in the company tool.
o Monitor identified compliance risks and action plans and escalate issues to CCO immediately as may be necessary.
· Awareness and Training
o Develop and manage regular awareness programs through trainings and campaigns for the entire Compliance team.
o Formulate and review training materials for Corporate Compliance areas to ensure the business and its stakeholders are updated with Group and regulatory requirements.
o Perform training sessions to Business Units on a regular basis.
· Stakeholder Management
o Coordinate with Group Compliance and relevant regulators to ensure compliance with Group Standards and policies, and regulations.
o Manage the Compliance Partners Program
· Others
o Acts as secretariat for the board and senior management committees.
o Ensure regular scheduling of committee meetings and coordination with presenters.
o May act as Project Lead for Corporate Compliance projects.
o Support other Compliance functions in awareness and training requirements

Qualifications
:Experience And Qualifications:
- University graduate (major in Law, Commerce / Business or Economics, Accounting preferred)
- 7+ years’ experience as a manager or similar leadership role in the insurance industry, banking or other financial industries
- 3-5 years’ experience in Compliance roles
- Critical thinker, detail-oriented, and able to do problem-solving functions.
- high level of organizational skills
- With excellent communication and presentation skills
- Agile and can work with minimum supervision.
- Possesses and exhibits integrity, technical competence, objective and confidentiality.
- Experience in having reporting lines to Region or Global office is preferred.
