Production Process Coach

Production Process Coach - Paint Shop - Based in Ford Vietnam Plant

General Duties:

1. Coach Safety, Quality and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work
2. Monitor Andon occurrences. Be the first responder as secondary support
3. Through Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
4. Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level of the organization
5. Communication and recognition
6. Build Team Leader and Team Member capability
7. Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities / tasks
8. Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents
9. Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives 
10. Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently
11. Support concern resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, production, and suppliers
12. Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems
13. Support Work Groups for short and long term countermeasures of all abnormalities
14. Validate and bridge operational needs as required to ensure the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
15. Strategic planning and coordination of Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) activities to achieve Safety, Quality, and Productivity objectives
16. Confirm standards are in place
17. Support issues raised by the teams
18. Implement interim and permanent corrective actions to resolve quality issues using 8D tool, 6 panel, etc. in Zone
19. Review incoming quality concerns to maintain quality with assigned area; must have experience with initiating containment, determining root cause and implementing corrective actions
20. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity
21. Conduct job ergonomic evaluations and deliver corrective actions as required
22. Any others tasks assigned by direct Supervisor or Head of Department

24. Compliance:
    1. Maintain & apply quality control system in working area including but not limited to TS16949, ISO14001, QOS, Ford Production System.
    2. Comply with Internal policies, Code of Conduct, procedures of the Company issued from time to time.
    3. Complete all compliance training as required by Corporate Compliance Office.
25. Other assignment:
    1. Control safety - SRA/SBI
    2. Control Weekly Safety report
    3. Control Repair standard & QLS
    4. Control ISO14001
    5. FPS – Control GPA
