Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a co-op student to join our Service Retention team. The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to learn while assisting activities within the Parts & Service Marketing and the Parts Sales & Analysis sections of the Service Retention department. On the marketing side, you will collaborate with cross functional teams, vendor and agency partners to drive consistent, compelling and aligned promotional content across platforms and aid with various dealer billing and claims processes. Collaborative and exposure opportunities continue on the Sales and Analysis side; working with internal stakeholders, dealer, and vendor partners to assist with accurate parts pricing, efficient processing of invoice/credit transactions, and participate in the creation of annual dealer pricing contracts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Parts & Service Marketing

  • Assist with Parts & Service Marketing campaigns and programs including creative review, executive program overview documents, and performance reports using insights to support the presentation of data-driven improvement opportunities

  • Assist in developing promotional aid and reference materials consistent with corporate brand direction and objectives

  • Conduct research to assess the viability of new opportunities for Parts & Service Marketing

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in reviewing and updating various dealership and vendor facing reference materials

  • Assist in creation of Standard Operating Procedures to help increase knowledge and efficiencies for repetitive tasks

  • Assist with timely processing of dealership and vendor billing/credits

  • Perform other tasks and projects as requested to contribute to Parts & Service Marketing activities

Parts Sales and Analysis

  • Parts Pricing checks: Check the final parts pricing submitted to dealer and compare them with our system to ensure accuracy between the 2 systems

  • Parts Invoice/Credit rejections: Monitor the invoices that are rejected due to pricing discrepancies between Direct-to-Dealer vendors and Toyota Canada Inc. Track and communicate the information to the different vendors, so it is resolved timely for the dealers

  • Reports: Update the pricing of certain parts on a weekly basis with their special margin

Other

  • Department Support: Perform other tasks and projects as requested
