The Learner Experience Administrator plays a key role in supporting the end-to-end learner journey at the Fire Service College.

Job Description:

Working under the guidance of the Learner Experience Team Leader, the postholder will assist in the enrolment, registration, and induction of learners, ensuring they are fully prepared prior to arrival. The role includes managing learner communications, supporting special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) adjustments, and acting as a point of contact during their time on site. Post-course, the administrator will help learners complete submissions and portfolios, while maintaining safeguarding responsibilities throughout the learner journey.

As a key member of the Academic Services team, you will work collaboratively with other departments to support our business objectives. You will ensure we deliver our objectives within the Academic Services and ensure every customer has an outstanding learning experience. You will be responsible for supporting delegates and clients end to end to ensure that they receive an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Capita Fire Service College as the professional education provider of choice

  • Build professional relations with colleagues to encourage a positive working environment.

  • Motivate, inspire, and drive the business through your actions.

  • Liaise with Sales and the Training Delivery team and other stakeholders

  • Responsible for supporting delegates to  ensure that delegates are supported pre and post course in achieving their qualification.  

  • Build a collaborative and supportive culture between all teams and Academic Services.

  • Responsible for the End-to-end process of learner support for delegates to ensure timely completion and Certification.

  • Support the enrolment, registration, and induction processes for all learners.

  • Ensure learners are registered with relevant awarding bodies and have completed any required pre-course work.

  • Communicate essential course information to learners prior to arrival, including logistics and SEND-related adjustments.

  • Welcome and assist learners on site, acting as a primary point of contact for queries and support.

  • Maintain accurate records of learner interactions, service history, and safeguarding concerns.

  • Honest, trustworthy, and professional

  • Flexibility to adapt working pattern to support business needs and work over weekends should you be required to support business needs

  • Experience in learner support, student services, or administrative roles within an educational or training environment.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a learner-focused approach.

  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and SEND support requirements.

  • Ability to manage confidential information and maintain accurate records.

  • Proficiency in using digital systems for learner management and communication
