The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional with excellent relationship and people skills to join us as Senior Commercial Underwriting - Digital. This role sits in our high performing Digital Commercial team which makes up a critical part of our wider Broker facing underwriting function. The team is supportive, fun and passionate about providing exceptional customer service!

Responsibilities

• Being the key point of contact for all underwriting referrals.
• Managing new business and ensuring the renewal of business is being retained by providing a first class service and technical advice.
• Being instrumental in process improvement.
• Monitoring and analysing trends across renewals and claims.
• Growing Ando’s business in the digital commercial sector through a variety of technology solutions.

Qualifications And Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in commercial underwriting and have a strong understanding of the New Zealand market and emerging trends.
• Will be proactive with great verbal and written communication.
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service for end customers and brokers.
• Qualifications preferred include an insurance diploma or certificate or BCom in Finance or related fields.
