Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Radiology team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day. 

Position Summary:

Performs high quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with established protocols. Interacts with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Applies knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols and procedures, and proper equipment utilization to maximize safety in the work environment. Maintains nuclear medicine equipment in optimum working condition.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday day shift starting between 0630am-0800am.  Rotation through on-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications:

Education, Experience Or Equivalent Combination:

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Must be willing to participate in continuing education to remain current of technical advances. 

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:

AART or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification

Must Maintain Bls.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

Must be able or willing to be trained in administering intravenous radioactive chemicals. 

Ability to assess results, problem solve, and use independent judgment. 

Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education, Experience Or Equivalent Combination:

One year of nuclear medicine experience
