Compliance Specialist - Uruguay

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our company.

The right candidate must be technically talented, hands-on, and have great interpersonal skills. If you like to work in a fast-paced environment, and full of challenges this is the place for you!

What you will be doing

• Lead and execute KYC processes across all industries we operate in (main responsibility of the role).
• Manage and respond to compliance related requests (KYs received by us from counterparties, for example).
• Monitor and interpret relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies applicable to the organization’s operations.
• Conduct internal reviews to detect and prevent potential compliance risks.
• Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance and risk-related matters.
• Assist in the development and continuous improvement of compliance programs and procedures.
• Document compliance activities and follow up on corrective actions when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory or KY's roles (not a junior profile).
• Previous experience in fintechs, payments, or technology-driven financial environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Languages: English (advanced).
• Nice to have: Portuguese.
