Description - Loan Servicing Administrator for Servicing Team: Duties may include: Processing incoming and outgoing paperwork including mail and facsimiles; support client service associates and operational personnel; checking inbound client documents for accuracy, notating all activities on the account, and submitting accurate forms for final processing to service center; make outbound contact both in writing and verbally with clients concerning paperwork. Requires ability to define and prioritize project activities and follow-up on project progress; strong written and verbal communication skills, strong working knowledge and proficiency in the appropriate computer programs such as MS Word and database input is essential, knowledge of financial services field. Must be able to learn quickly and to engage in a number of detailed tasks at once. Must have strong flexibility in regard to the duties assigned and problem-solving skills, be able to work independently. Responsibilities includes cash reconciliation, LIQ accrual management , following up with external agent to secure delinquent payment. Responsibilities will also include internal metrics reporting, and reconciliations
Responsibilities:
> Responsible for daily lifecycle servicing transactions within a dynamic portfolio of lending and trading positions supported by domestic and international based resources.
> Ensure that loan servicing transactions are processed accurately in Loan IQ.
> Review of legal documentation where applicable (Credit Agreements, Amendments and Waivers)
> Work with the Business Unit (BU), Financial Controllers (FCG), Global Capital Markets (GCM), Leveraged Acquisition Finance (LAF), Lending Joint Venture (LJV), and other internal teams on issues
> Checking and Approval of Loan Events, tying out between System & Agent Notices to ensure these are processed timely and accurately
> Preparing metrics reports
> Reconciliation of trade settlement via Internal MS system
> Upkeep and amending of various policies and procedures
> Dealing with queries received on MS positions from multiple partners
> Working with Vendor Team to ensure critical items are correctly prioritised. Skills / Experience:
> 2+ years of financial services operations experience required
> 2+ years of syndicated/corporate loan experience strongly preferred
> 2+ years of people, process, and/or project management experience required
> Loan IQ experience strongly preferred
> Must be proficient in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
> Must be proficient in documenting procedures and process flows
> Must be willing to work overtime during seasonal volume spikes
> Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload for junior staff
> Ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
> Familiarity with syndicated loan products and credit documentation preferred
> The successful candidate will work well under pressure and be able to meet strict deadlines as well as having strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
> Ability to drive change and improve daily processes in the work place delivering both capacity and control.
> Critical thinker, proactively considering operational and reputational risk of the department and firm.
> Able to assess problems quickly and provide effective, innovative solutions with confidence.
> Strong background in Loans is preferred.
> Assumes ownership of problems and drives towards their resolution.
> Displays high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately..
> Develops and maintains excellence in client relations by providing timely and relevant information through effective communication.
> Delivers team tasks on time to required quality.
