The machine operater will operate machinery relevant to the production of core components.
Requirements
You will make an impact and be successful in this role with the following skills and responsibilities:
- Needs to understand the HYDAC Quality Policy and Quality Objectives and how they are related to this position.
- Must read and interpret production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality plans.
- Use fixed and variable measurement equipment.
CORE MACHINE OPERATOR "C"
- Basic Machine Operations on Braze cut length machine, upcut saw and cut to length little bar machine.
- May require 0-1 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Requires a high school diploma.
- Has to pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days.
- Reports to a Lead or supervisor.
CORE MACHINE OPERATOR "B"
- Mid-Level Core Machine Operator Position.
- May require 2 to 3 years of machine operating experience.
- Will be responsible for all of description C and operate flux coating machine and fin machines.
- Will use SAP transactions.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision of Lead or Supervisor.
CORE MACHINE OPERATOR "A"
- Senior Level Core Machine Operator.
- May require at least 4 years of machine operating experience.
- Responsibility of all C & B descriptions with complete operational understanding of maintenance and set ups of all machines.
- Will also troubleshoot and have the ability to train.
- Will also use SAP transactions.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within this field.
- May lead or direct the work of others.
Skills and Attributes
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternate solutions.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Oral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Enter and record data in SAP, Excel, and other software programs.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED or up to 1month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Safety and Personal Protective Equipment
- Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location.
- Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
