Faculty Position in Geotechnical Engineering.

The Civil Engineering Department at Universidad de Ingeniería y Tecnología – UTEC, in Lima, Peru, is seeking exceptional candidates for a faculty position in Geotechnical Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, or a related field.

Teaching experience in Geotechnical Engineering courses (at least as a teaching assistant).

A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the construction, energy, mining, and/or environmental sectors.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Experience as research advisor at undergraduate or graduate level

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D Degree
• Experience in writing grant proposals.
• Experience presenting at international conferences and/or participating in international committees.
• Membership in international professional associations relevant to the field.
• Demonstrated interest in collaborating with academic, industry, and/or community partners.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body.
