The Role
- Plan and coordinate the maintenance of the processing plant
- Develop maintenance strategies, as well as scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the maintenance of processing plant including crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits, and associated infrastructure
- Actively develop the weekly schedule, and assist with shut down planning
- Work with the Maintenance & Processing team to safely, efficiently and cost effectively maintain all assets
- Organise schedules/work orders for the Fixed Plant Mechanical, Electrical, Light Vehicle, and Servicemen
- Organise parts and labour needed in a timely manner for future works, contractor labour and offsite repairs to minimize disruption to the operation
- Analysing the risk of equipment failure, undertake performance measurement and ensure that maintenance costs are kept as low as possible
- Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Contribute to the development of detailed maintenance budgets and forecasts
What Do I Need
- Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
- Relevant Trade Certificate (essential)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Pronto experience (essential)
- Microsoft Project experience (preferred)
- Proficient Microsoft office skills
- Sound working knowledge of Gold processing plants – multistage crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, elution circuits, tailings and reagent circuits, and associated infrastructure
- Have a comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
