Job Description

• The Senior Analytics Engineer primarily responsible for the design, development and support of Azure Databricks platform and Power BI Dashboards & reports. 
• The Senior Analytics Engineer will independently perform requirement gathering, Design and Build the models and reports. 
• The Senior Analytics Engineer  will interact with different levels of business audiences to clearly define data needed to support strategic and tactical decision making. 
• The Senior Analytics Engineer will work alongside Data Engineering team, Business Users and other stakeholders to design and deploy end to end Analytics solutions to meet business needs.
• The Job role involves all phases of the project - Requirement gathering, Estimation, Project Planning, Execution, Go-live and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering or Computer Science
• Prefer Masters – MCA in case of Bachelor’s in Computer Science
• 8-10 years overall Databricks experience
• In depth knowledge in SQL, Azure Databricks, Python, Apache Spark, and DevOps & GIT
• Experience in Design and develop interactive dashboards Power Bi/ Qlik/ Tableau based on business requirement
• Experience in using Direct query in Databricks using serverless SQL
• Exposure with CICD pipelines for the Azure resources
• Create and optimize Spark jobs for data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate machine learning models into the data processing workflows
• Has experience working with Unity catalog or any catalog
• Additional Desired Qualifications:
• Has experience working Azure Synapse & Azure Data factory , SAP environment, API’s
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide alternative solutions to technical problems
