Reservations Sales Agent

Cambridge Suites Hotel is looking for a new Reservations Sales Agent.  Join our professional and hospitable team. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Selling experience in a hotel setting or related industry is preferred
• Ability to build relationships with others, a genuine connector
• Energetic with a confident, positive attitude, driven to deliver elevated guest experiences
• Professional and well organized with excellent communication skills in English, multi-lingual is a strong asset
• Ability to resolve issues and ability to think on your feet
• Proficiency with various software systems, including, Microsoft Office, Excel
• Excellent knowledge of Halifax and surrounding areas.
• Excellent selling skills to maximize revenues
• High attention to detail & accuracy
• Team participation and support

 

Requirements are:

• Excellent team-player
• Exceptional communication skills
• At least 2 years’ of experience in customer service
• Previous experience with Opera software is an asset
